Confessions of an office worker…

Confession #1 – I listen to pandora on my headphones while doing work and….sigh, sometimes I can’t help it, I have to dance or mouth the words. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to adjust dancing arms or head bobbing into convincing stretches when people walk by. But I don’t think they’re onto me, yet….hopefully. πŸ™‚

What’s your office confession?

  1. Ha! I enjoyed that visual. I worked in the dark stagnant bowels of operations research. It was somber work in gray and black suits. I learned to stay quiet in my cubie farm and let my imagination Snoopy dance on company time while my eyes dug through petabytes of data. My supervisor, a genius of a man, never undertood why I always had such a mischievous grin on my face. When I left, I told him the mind is a wonderful playground. Then he understood. That’s my confession. Please don’t tell anyone. πŸ™‚

  2. LOL! When I used to work in a particularly BORING law office, I’d put the dictaphone headphones in, pull up a document that was already complete, then stare at the screen and “fake type” (just move my fingers on the keys and make the sound of typing) just to pass the time and look like I was doing something productive.
